Adaptable Recruitment are pleased to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing transport and logistics business based in Runcorn, who are looking to recruit a Customer Service Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, office-based team where customer experience is at the heart of the business and no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a high level of customer service via phone and email

  • Managing and monitoring shared inboxes, responding professionally and promptly

  • Creating and updating jobs accurately on internal systems

  • Entering data in a timely and accurate manner

  • Communicating effectively with internal teams to meet customer requirements

  • Handling incoming calls confidently and professional


The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role

  • Experience within transport, logistics, or a fast-paced office environment is desirable

  • Confident telephone manner with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

  • Methodical, accurate, and able to follow set procedures

  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
